I excel most at shaking things up –simply by offering the voice and perspective of an overly experienced, moderately young person of color, adoptee, divorcee, feminist, womanist, visionary, and failure alike. Also on my list: trauma survivor, geriatric parent, and lifelong partner. Click below for samples of my work!

I had the pleasure to collaborate with Rev. Katherine Lee Baker on a project recently and was struck by her depth of knowledge around DEI matters, her “anything is possible” attitude which was well informed by her years of experience, and by how she managed our relationship from commission through to planning and execution. A humble thought leader and an absolute joy to work with.
Rev. Katherine is a dream to work with. She is kind, empathetic, and extremely intelligent… and always goes out of the way to make sure you feel heard, appreciated, and validated. The one thing I really liked about Rev. Katherine’s style is that the program created she created reminded us that we are not necessarily experts but practitioners in our lived experiences. She embodies leadership in many spaces, but DEI is her jam. I have worked with her twice and would love to continue working with her again and again!
I have worked with Rev Baker on a special commission at the highest levels of the the denomination. Her professionalism, ability to clearly articulate various points of view, and advocacy were models to me in my work. Since that time, I have remained in touch with her and followed the arc of her career. Her abilities as a leader, fund raiser, and organizational architect are amazing. I have learned a great deal from her and would gladly work for her!
Rev. Katherine Lee Baker is a leader whose depth of emotional intelligence brings great strength to her work in all the spheres she influences vocationally and personally. She invites others to create impact which is equitable and facilitates belonging. She is creative and innovative, and as a community trustee she connects people and places to dynamic and important intersections of conversation and action. Her leadership makes the places she works move into their missions. Our community is stronger because her skills and talent as a servant leader help all people flourish.
Katherine is an exceptional leader with skills in public speaking, facilitation and relationship building. She has a strong commitment to people and her community. People are drawn to Katherine as a leader. She takes this role seriously and works hard to prepare, learn and adapt to lead well. Our community is luck to have Katherine.
Katherine has a passion and penchant for intersectional activism and elevating the voices of those positioned at the fringe. She has consistently used her positional power both within systems and in her civic engagement to disrupt injustice and inspire new solutions to complex social ills. Katherine uses her leadership to create spaces of belonging for difference makers that are routinely “othered”.
